The Nike React Miler 3 Running Shoe is an inexpensive everyday running shoe for longer runs. It has a comfortable upper, not too high, but just enough midfoot. It can be a good choice for beginner runners who don’t want to spend a lot on their first running shoe, and it can also be a good choice for runners with wider feet, overweight or with a large body weight.
Nike React Miler 3 upper
The upper of the Nike React Miler 3 running shoe has changed a lot from the previous version, and not necessarily to its advantage, though that’s just a matter of opinion. The upper is made of a mesh material, complemented by an inner layer that is one with the tongue. The upper of the shoe is thicker than the Nike React Miler 2 upper, so it doesn’t have as good breathability. It has a slightly flexible upper and is very wide, which is good news for those with wide feet, but runners with thin feet will not be able to secure their feet well in it, which can cause chafing. The tongue is very thick at the top and not as premium as the previous version. The heel collar has an external plastic reinforcement which makes it extremely stiff and although it has a thick cushioning it does not hold the ankle firmly. While the toe is extra wide, the heel is narrower than average, but even this is not enough to keep the foot secure.

The midsole of the Nike React Miler 3 running shoe is made entirely from Nike’s React foam, which is soft, responsive and has good cushioning for a midsole that’s not too tall.
