It’s difficult to make major changes to a shoe that was already very good. The Hoka Mach 7 running shoe doesn’t introduce extreme innovations either, but the smaller updates have improved it. The upper has become more comfortable and offers slightly better foot lockdown. The outsole provides better grip. The midsole height remains the same and is still made of supercritical EVA foam. Its weight has increased slightly, but it remains a lightweight running shoe.
