The mesh material is a bit thicker and stiffer to the touch, but comfortable. Since the word Distance is in the name of the shoe, I approached the midsole of the shoe as being designed for longer runs, and my first run was a longer but slower (5:30/km) run accordingly. The foam worked very well, not too soft and therefore stable and with very good shock absorption. On my second run I tried it at a faster pace and it performed surprisingly well. At higher speeds the dynamics came out and it was noticeably helpful for faster runs. The midsole of the Craft PRO Endur Distance running shoe is very versatile, lightweight, halfway between hard and soft. The heel area is widened and the forefoot has a wide midsole for good stability. Medium flex, good torsional stiffness that is also midway, stiff enough to be stable but flexible enough to stay comfortable for longer. Both the heel and the front of the midsole are curved, with a rocker, rolling geometry that helps make transitions fast and smooth.

Craft PRO Endur Distance Outsole

The Craft PRO Endur Distance running shoe outsole is made from a harder rubber compound that has very good abrasion resistance. In addition to good wear resistance, the outsole is thicker than average, making it very durable. Because the outsole is made of a harder rubber compound, the grip is not outstanding, you may feel some slippage on wet surfaces, but on dry surfaces it grips very well. The outsole does not cover the entire midsole, but it does cover a larger than average area. The outsole has a longitudinal and a lateral cutout, which allows the shoe to remain flexible.
