Craft Spors Wear is a Swedish functional sportswear brand founded in 1973. When the company was founded, its main aim was to produce sports underwear with good moisture-wicking properties, but since then it has also produced outerwear, footwear and other sports equipment. The idea and motivation of the founders was to experiment with a material that would easily wick sweat away from the skin to the outer layer of the clothes, where it would easily evaporate. This not only makes the clothes more comfortable, but also more efficient, as they do not weigh down the athlete's clothing with moisture. Craft is also known for the way its garments adapt to weather conditions, providing good insulation in cold weather, optimized for rainy weather and good ventilation in warm weather. The company's founder, Anders Bengtsson, got the idea to create a weatherproof, adaptable garment from his running, as there was no moisture-wicking functional sportswear available in 1973. He has applied the same philosophy to his Craft Running Shoes, creating running shoes with premium materials that contribute to better results and comfort. Craft running shoes are now available in all segments and categories: asphalt/road, trail and hybrid (both trail and road).
